I love this game so much, the atmosphere is top tier! It's a lot of fun to explore, and the sound design and graphics are great. Also, I love the feature of the real world affecting the dream world, it's a mechanic that I wish I saw in more YNFGs! Can't wait to see what else you make in the future.

Thank you, I'm happy you found it enjoyable!

Where's new one memory?

It's located in the dark basement area, specifically in the lower part of the map (in a room that is lit up). It kind of blends in with the floor.

I enjoyed the game!!!! The graphics and the dream worlds were charmy but mysterious (you can find your way without lose you, unlike other fangames). Really good job!!

Hello I guess this game is really good, and has some potentials. The mechanic is interesting, interacting with npcs in the real world/outside of dream world. I'm sorry if this is all I have to say. I guess my only other complaint, will be the button for effect use, but may not matter, especially I'm playing with a controller, but in keyboard could be kind of a problem, unless you already had another button for it, then my bad.

Overall I think it's alright-pretty good range (I'm sorry that I can't decide very well.) and I hope to see more updates from this, and I'm sorry if this all I have to say, especially I think the most I wanted to say, has already been said. And I almost forgot, graphics/visuals are pretty good!

Your game was fun to play! I can tell you worked really hard on it. It looks like you got a ton done in the time of the jam. There's even an amount of polish on some sections like the lighting overlays which is crazy to get done in such a short time.

I was able to find all the available effects and mementos. The FAQ in the read me file was a big help, I appreciate that. I had some trouble with figuring out which hotel guests were necessary to talk to though. I woke up several times and would talk to everyone available, and I think the characters with dialog options are the ones who affect the dream, but even after finding everything I'm still not sure exactly what they change. A few more in-game hints about that would be helpful.

I thought the water pedestal puzzle was neat, though I spent a lot of time trying to get water from the fountains in that area and I'm still not sure if/why you can't use them. (I did eventually find a different source for water.) Nice job with the glass effect keeping the liquid the player picked up even after switching to another effect! A lot of fan games would not have been able to get that to work properly.

The protagonist staying at a hotel idea is neat, I haven't seen that before. I liked how the messy room and the concierge's comment about it help establish her personality. The mementos are also a nice way to reveal some of her history to the player. This is a great start to a game and I look forward to seeing any future updates!

Thank you for the detailed comment! I'm happy you found the game enjoyable overall.

There were a few things I wish I could have polished more/done better, and you brought up several of them. In particular, guiding the player to routinely talk to the hotel guests (and making sure they're talking to the ones they need to in order to progress) is something I wasn't sure how to execute well. Having to make the rest of the game on top of that idea didn't allow me much time to think about it in depth, so hopefully in the future I'll be able to improve that mechanic.

Also, the water fountains... they'll probably be fixed at some point. Some of the issues pertaining to them are more RPG Maker's fault than mine and will likely require weird workarounds to get functioning right, but I'll look into it because you brought it up.

Thanks again for playing, and I appreciate the feedback!
